Nominations Open for QUEST’s 2015 Community Energy Builder Awards

Ottawa, Ontario – August 12, 2015. QUEST is now soliciting nominations for the 2015 Community Energy Builder Awards, which will be presented on October 27, 2015 at QUEST’s 9th Annual Conference and Tradeshow, QUEST 2015: Getting Smart About Energy in Our Communities at the Marriott Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

The QUEST Community Energy Builder Awards are presented annually to recognize leadership and innovation in advancing Smart Energy Communities in Canada. The categories represent the three principal community energy building sectors: (1) Utility and Energy Service Provider, (2) Real Estate Sector and (3) Local Government.

Awards are presented in each sector to the organization that has demonstrated leadership and innovation in advancing Smart Energy Communities in Canada through: Energy Integration, Energy Efficiency, Energy Collaboration, and the Broader Good.

The nomination period is open from August 12, 2015 until October 1, 2015. Finalists will be announced on October 20, 2015. The Award winners will be announced at the QUEST Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony on October 27, 2015, taking place at QUEST’s 9th Annual Conference and Tradeshow, QUEST 2015: Getting Smart About Energy in Our Communities at the Marriott Eaton Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
