As the COVID-19 pandemic began impacting our communities, PNWER made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Annual Summit. However, we are now looking forward to hosting the 2021 Summit in Big Sky, Montana, August 15-19, 2021.

With consideration to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the continuation of the closure of the Canada-U.S. border to non-essential travel, PNWER is currently planning the 2021 Summit as a hybrid event.

The 2021 Summit promises robust in-person and virtual content and networking opportunities that will allow our in-person attendees to enjoy all that Big Sky has to offer as well as the opportunity to reach a broader audience virtually throughout the region and as far away as Ottawa and Washington, D.C.

We hope that most of our delegates will be able to be vaccinated before August and ready to join us in Montana!

The PNWER Annual Summit is the leading forum where people in the policy world and the business world come together to figure out solutions to regional challenges.

Regional legislators, business leaders, and key decision-makers will come together in Big Sky, Montana, and virtually on August 15-19, 2021 to explore shared challenges in the region, discuss best practices, strengthen regional relationships, and develop action plans for addressing these challenges in the future.

Attendees include 60+ state, provincial, and territorial legislators; 50 corporate CEOs or VPs; 60 NGO executive directors; Several federal legislators; 15 University Presidents; 90+ governmental officials.

The Pacific Northwest Building Resilience Coalition is a Platinum Sponsor of the PNWER 2021 Summit. In partnership with PNWER, the Coalition is hosting four distinct webinars on the Pathway to Resilience and Carbon Neutrality starting on June 8, 2021.
